ENERGOS: Tecnologías para la gestión automatizada e inteligente de las redes de distribución energética del futuro.
Programme for the promotion of the creation of national strategic consortia for technical research.
Energos is a research project for the development of knowledge and technologies that will allow progress in the implementation of smart (Smart-Grid) power distribution networks. The main characteristic of this type of network is its ability to integrate and manage, in real time, the actions of the users that are connected to it - generators, consumers and those who are both things at the same time - in order to achieve an efficient, safe and sustainable power supply.
This project is framed within the programme of national strategic consortia for technical research (CENIT) of impetus to innovation and technological development in key areas for the company. The Center for Industrial technological development (CDTI) subsidizes half of the budget, amounting to 24.3 million euros.
The Consortium for the project counts with the participation of leading companies and national agencies in the field of intelligent networks and is led by Gas Natural Fenosa with a relevant participation of Indra.
